Christmas On Saturday

Ok I guess it really wasn't Christmas. But for Celiacs it pretty much was. In the worlds of another gluten free girl and my friend:

Busy Bee

How are ya?! I spent hardly any time on the computer this weekend, which was a nice technology free break, but not by choice. I was busy busy! Of course this meant lots of marvelous things to share.

Saturday was spent getting up super early to squeeze in a workout. This never happens on the weekend. Even though I don't sleep late, I do love sleeping until 8. Of course this mean that a Starbucks run had to happen.

Denver Part Two

I wasn’t kidding when I said we fit so many events into that 3 day weekend. So much stuff to share!

We had a minor setback on Sunday morning. I thought I saw a bug (which was really Troy’s phone) and somehow fell out of the bed backwards. I ended up hurting my ankle. It was another one of those “only me” moments.

Colorado Part 1

Hiiiiiiiiii!

This week has been crazy since I got back trying to catch up on everything. Finally I can share some pictures with you guys...

Colorado Part 1:

The boyfriend and I traveled with our friends Jamie and Joe, who are newbies to the blog, for a jam packed weekend. We chose to stay at the Warwick hotel. We all agreed it was one of the nicest hotels we have all stayed at.

A king bed was a must!
Our outdoor patio had awesome views of downtown Denver. I was so excited by the time we finally got there and I survived the flight haha.

WIAW-I Forgot What A Vegetable Looked Like

Woah, I can't believe it's already time for another round of What I Ate Wednesday Tuesday.

Sorry for leaving you all hanging yesterday. After getting home at 1am on Monday night and debating whether to get up for school by 6am, I decided to skip class. Sleeping in felt marvelous after traveling this past weekend. Between unpacking and catching up on some homework, life left me little time for blogging yesterday.

I am glad to be back, I miss chatting with you guys while I was away :)

Anyway, let's get to the main point : FOOD!

Since I came home and found the fridge in a very sad state, food shopping was on my agenda for last night. Anyone else try to eat up everything before going away? All that was left was pickles, limes, and tomatoes :(

Only Me

*Hey all! Today is our last day in Denver :(
We are off to eat breakfast and take a quick swim in the pool before our flight leaves. We are hoping we don't get delayed from the snow starting later here.

Oh my awkward life. These stories just didn't fit into any other post because I still just can't believe they happened.

Here's a tidbit of insight into the most awkward moments of my life, that often leave me thinking "only me".

1) Last month the boyfriend and I were out at a bar for a fundraiser for one of his friend's dad, who has cancer. So sad because the guy's dad is so young too. Anyway, I don't want to leave you all on a sad note. We ran into some people from high school (always awkward no matter how old you are) and some random girl was with them. She comes up to me and goes "I see you at the gym everyday. I use the elliptical and watch you walk around" I had absolutely no idea who she was and have never seen her there before. Kinda creepy and kinda flattering at the same time?
