So far my birthday morning has been great.
But, backing up to yesterday, I spent the majority of the day lounging around in my pajamas. Fabuuuuulous. After being away for a week, it was nice to sleep in my own bed. Around 1:30 I finally
Of course I had to pick up some birthday goodies at the food store.
No celebration is complete without cookies and cake with lots of frosting!
While baking the cake I had the very important task of licking the bowl clean, yum.
After eating raw cake, I was sort of full, but knew I needed at least something nutritious for dinner. An egg sandwich was whipped up. I can't get enough of eggs lately.
Last week, I won't lie I was a little bummed I wouldn't be spending my birthday laying on a beach in Mexico like we had planned. Life happens and you just have to roll with it. I do have exciting news though, Mom and I were able to re-book our vacation for around the same price. We leave Sunday for a week in Dominican Republic. I am beyond excited since I haven't ever been before!
Today's birthday plans include getting massages with the boyfriend. A day spent relaxing is just what I need. We're not sure where we are going for dinner yet. Maybe sushi or Italian?! Not sure, but I know I will be thoroughly enjoying all those delicious desserts!
Catch you all later. Xo
Ashley
