What I Ate Wed.-Leftover Chocolate

Happy Wednesday! I'm still off from school today so I am enjoying relaxing and taking it easy.

So let's take a look at my eats from yesterday??

Breakfast started off nice and early around 8am. No matter how hard I try, I can't sleep late. 8:30 is super late for me. Usually, I'm always up by 7:30. A big bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter hit the spot. Big shocker right?? ;)

The weather started out so bright and sunny. It was close to 45 degrees. So instead of walking on the treadmill, I went to the park. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, already saw how strange the weather was. As soon as I got to the park, the weather got all gloomy and dark.

After my walk, I needed a snack to get me through all my homework. I decided on my choc. chip
protein muffin. <--super good decision right there.

For lunch, I knew I wanted to try my new TJ's roasted turkey. I wrapped it up with some lettuce, hummus, and drizzled garlic dressing on it. OH my goooooodness. This was one of the best turkey wraps I've ever had. It tasted like real Thanksgiving Day turkey.

After running some errands, I needed a snack before dinner. An apple and some brown rice crackers held me over.

Dinner ended up being much later than usual around 8pm. Needless to say, I was starved! Takeout sushi ended up being on the menu. And it was gone in about five seconds. I always get the same thing: california roll and salmon roll. I admit, I'm afraid to try new sushi flavors. Anyone have any good recommendations for new rolls to try?

Around 10pm I was still a little hungry. I mixed together a little bowl of vanilla chobani greek yogurt and some leftover chocolate chips. Fabulous.

See you guys tomorrow!

What is your favorite late night snack?

What is your favorite sushi roll that I must try?

  3. what a yummy day of eats! my favorite type of sushi is a spicy tuna roll with brown rice, you should try it! Or just a regular tuna roll if you're not a fan of spice ;) I have several favorite late night-snacks! Like you, I'm a fan of yogurt and chocolate, I also like peanut butter-chocolate. "banana ice-cream" (recipe on my blog if you're interested!) I also enjoy wise-reduced fat popcorn or a piece of fruit with nut butter!
