My stomach was feelin' a little funny the other day. So my eats were a little out of the usual.
Breakfast started off with a Clif bar. Honestly I didn't even want to eat anything, but knew I needed something.
The past two days have been snow days so they were filled with lots of nothing! Technically, I only had one real snow day. The other one I made myself hehe. My morning class got cancelled and I wasn't about to drive 35 minutes to see if my afternoon teacher showed up. So I stayed home and relaxed with the puppy. We spent the majority of the day parked right on the couch, which was fine by me.
One night during the week I popped into work to get a few things. After being out for three weeks, it was weird even being back. It was kind of stressful so I rewarded myself with a Starbucks after. In case you guys didn't know, Starbucks can cure anything :)
I've been snacking on pretzels like crazy. Love them, especially when they're dripped in sour cream. Makes them even more delicious.
It's no secret I'm not a big technology person. I mean with only getting an iPhone six months ago, I'm still learning new things I can do with it. Anyway, the boyfriend and I were texting and I love using all those emoticons. So, I sent him what I thought was a fist pump. He thought I was sending him a digital punch. That's where you guys come in. Who is correct? I don't want to go around "punching" random people on Instagram or Twitter!
Dinner ended up being ate on the couch in front of the tv. There was nothing prepared and at 8pm, I didn't feel like making anything. My boyfriend's mom made homemade mac and cheese for me a couple weeks ago and I froze all the leftovers. Needless to say, I was super excited to find this leftover hiding in the freezer.
While lounging around on my snow days, I finally saw The Departed. How did I not know about this movie?! It was so good! Truth be told, I like any movie my beloved Leo is in. Yesterday, I stocked up on some more Leo movies and a new book for the weekend. The sun is shining (double points if you know who sings that song) and I'm hoping to get outside for a little while today!
Have a great Saturday!
Question for the day?
Is it a fist pump or punch?!
Lol, love the fist pump! I also love that you gave yourself a snow day :)
ReplyDeleteI dip my pretzels in cream cheese... SO good :)
ReplyDeleteHome made mac n cheese looks awesome! I hate those mornings when you don't want to eat but you really know you need to.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of dipping pretzels in sour cream. I just got an iphone right before Christmas when my old contract out and am still so new to all the features it offers. Hope you start feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI'd say fist pump! Yay for a self declared snow day! Those are the best. I hope you start feeling better soon and the stress of work didn't overwhelm you!! Hve a good rest of your weekend!
ReplyDeletePretzels and sour cream?? Hmm...this is a new one to me. But honestly, it sounds quite delicious!
