Mustaches

Back to the grind for me today, spring break has come and left. This means only more month until graduation, which I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

Thanks to about 10 birds nesting in my air condition and having a party at 7am yesterday, I was awake bright and early. Instead of trying to fight their constant chirping, why not get up and start cooking?

Even my fortune cookie wanted me to food prep for the week.

After prepping at least over 5lbs of protein for the week, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, and veggies, I was done with the kitchen! Whew, multitasking is hard work.
In the afternoon I headed over to my cousin's birthday party. Can you tell what her theme was?
Yep, mustaches haha!
She celebrated the big 10. You know you're getting old when none of your cousins are no longer in the "single digit" ages. The party wouldn't be complete without two yummy birthday cakes and....
Mustache balloons! Didn't even know they sold these! Very cool.
However, one guest at the table was not like the others.
Their greyhound, Chopper, was eyeing up all the goods.

So you see this weekend was rather marvelous in unexpected ways. Want to be marvelous and join in? Head over to Katie's blog!

Catch you guys later!

*Question- Did you or still do theme parties for your birthday?
I think a 60's themed party would be really fun!
