What's in my Purse?

Hi. I can't believe it is Thursday already. This week has been flying by. Almost the weekend :)

Call me nosy, but I like seeing what is in people's purses. Maybe I'm weird, but I like seeing other girl's favorite products. A purse is not only a ten pound, carry everything in your house bag, but a survival kit for everyday life. My bag's contents go far beyond chapstick and money, I'm fully prepared for anything life throws at me.

Let's start with the bag. I'm fully obsessed with Coach, I love anything by their brand. Their bags fit all my stuff and don't fall apart from my daily abuse. The boyfriend usually lets me pick out a new one every year for my birthday. Yes, all that stuff junk does fit in there.

Welcome to my hair tie collection. There were about five more clips that didn't make it into this picture. Also, the pink hair tie is really a glow in the dark bracelet, but it serves a double purpose in my life.

Oh chapstick, my second love. My addictions in life are good coffee and good chapstick. As long as I have those I'm set. Lipstick? Not a fan, it dries out my lips and I can never find the right shade. The Revlon one is a nude color, so I almost never use it. A big night out when I'm feeling festive, maybe I'll break it out. I always keep perfume in my bag. New York & Company spray has been the choice lately. And Ulta, don't even get me started. I could write forever about Ulta and it's one of the few stores I spend my paycheck in a half hour.

Gum, I'm constantly chewing gum. I hate eating and then feeling like you can't get the taste of food out of your mouth. I have gum on me at ALL times. Cough drops as of lately to beat this lingering cold. Also, hand cream since this winter has been freezing and my hands are turning brittle! Hand sanitizer is a must, band-aids, and floss. You never know when you might need floss and I end up using it all the time.

Some more of my everyday essentials include my Guess prescription sunglasses. The case literally takes up half my purse. Then, some essentials for school like my calculator and my collection of pens. I get so excited when I find a new, good quality pen. I feel like it makes my handwriting so much nicer// or more fancy haha.

Here is a closer look at my sunglasses. You guys know I love anything with an animal print, as seen by my wallet, and here.

Last and most important: my wallet. Most wallets are usually one color and plain. So I was thrilled to find this one with leopard print on it. You can't see it in the picture, but it has metallic sparkles all over too. Makes me feel like a diva :)

One thing I don't carry around is makeup. I feel like my makeup stays on pretty well through the day and if it wears off no big deal.

By the way, yesterday was a big day over here. I've seen taco salads floating around the blog world for awhile now and finally got around to trying one. I threw in some rice crackers, TJ's prepared chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some of my greek yogurt dip.

Look at all that avocado, yum. Avocados are one food I don't think I could ever get sick of.

Happy almost weekend!

Tell me, what is one thing you never keep in your purse, but wish you did?

Is your purse small with only the key essentials or packed to the max like mine?

  1. I like seeing whats in other peoples purses too. I went through a phase where I watched a bunch of those "whats in my purse" videos on You Tube. :)
I always have gum and a good chap stick on hand too. They're my must haves!

  3. I love everything coach too! I want a new purse, I need to find time to head to the outlets for a super sale. My purse always ends up full of crap and then I switch purses and clean everything out. Chapstick is so essential!

    1. Same, I always get bags at the outlet. They are SO much cheaper than the store and they're the same quality.

  4. It's the inner voyeur in us I guess that loves to see what's in people's purses! I agree with you on Chapstick and gum, and I also always have my sunglasses in one case and my glasses in another - sunglasses I need in the daytime as it's always sunny in the day here in Calgary, and glasses I need for driving at night, so that way I'm never caught without ;).

    1. I can't drive without my sunglasses at all. I hate the glare you get with glasses.

  5. I have a pretty big purse! I also have like 4 wallets in it. Somehow I always carry a wristlet going out and never empty it and just throw it in! I probably still don't have any money in any of those, but hey, it works! I also have like 6 chapsticks in my purse.I can never, nothave one!

  6. This is a cute idea for a post! I also have way too many hair ties and the exact same clips in my purse. I would be embarrassed to show everyone inside my purse because I always have mounds of papers and receipts in there. It's more like a trash can than a purse, lol.

    1. Haha the reason there is no receipts is because they were all jammed into my wallet! :)

  7. Ooh I love seeing inside people's handbags.
I love your wallet. So pretty! I always carry chewing gum with me as I can't live without the stuff. Though I feel so guilty now as I never floss - how bad is that!
