How To Create The Perfect Scrambled Eggs

Happy Monday friends! Let's hope we are all off to a marvelous week. Thanks Katie for hosting another week!

After this weekend I feel so refreshed. Friday started out not so great thanks to a killer headache and having class at 3pm. An afternoon class at school is not the ideal way to start off the weekend. So, I decided to get a pick me up on my way. A skinny vanilla latte cured my headache and almost made me late for class, but it was worth it.

Like usual my weekend included lots of movies. I heard Ted was really funny and very crude so I finally got around to watching it. I love teddy bears so I thought it was really funny! Sometimes I have a raunchy sense of humor.

There was one part where the bear is doing bad things at work and his manager promotes him. After working at so many retail stores when I was younger, it is sad how true this is. I feel like retail management seems to work backwards at least in the stores I've worked in.

Saturday was spent perfecting how to create the perfect scrambled egg whites. I can be pretty picky with the texture. Burnt or soggy is not for me. Here's how I have perfected it:

Step 1) Let the egg batter cook flat for about 2 minutes or until the edges turn white.
Step 2) Mix the egg whites around. Don't chop them. Let them break apart naturally.
Step 3) Eat super fluffy delicious eggs!
Wishbone wanted to pop in today since she told she hasn't been getting enough face time on the blog lately!
And the winner of the giveaway is.....
Congrats Nicole! Shoot me an email with your address and I'll get your prize shipped out!

**Question for the morning

Have you ever had a job where it seemed the management did things backwards?

  4. I'm picky about the texture of eggs, too, and I have to say that those scrambled egg whites look PERFECT. Nice!

  5. I'm definitely picky about my scrambled eggs. I like them sorta "wet" if they are overcooked/browned I am not a happy camper!

  6. Those eggs look amazing, I am a horrible scrambled egg maker. I can make fried eggs and stir egg whites into oats but thats about it. I have seen some funny job schedule preferences and promotions to people who are less than well behaved employees. Thanks girl, excited about the giveaway :)
