I Acommplished my Life's Goal

And it was getting my picture on the wall at Ralph's Ices!!

My mom calls it the wall of shame, but I am not ashamed. I am a proud lover of Ralph's (best ices hands-down). All I need in life is Starbucks and Ralph's. Last night was the first night they opened for the season. I was having withdrawals since they have been closed for four months. Heck yes, I was one of the first customers. Is it embarrassing that the girl working there saw me there literally all the time last summer? Even went back twice in one night. Yikeeess, I can't believe I just admitted that.

Let's back it up to earlier in the day. Another doctor's appointment down with nothing to show for it. All my blood tests came back fine (good news) but they still don't know where all my weird symptoms are coming from (bad news). My recommendations were to get plenty of rest and be stress free. Stress free? I don't know if I know how to do that. So, they're going to run more tests. Ughhh, very frustrating.

New York apparently has not got the memo that spring is a'coming. Yesterday was a big old 40 degrees with super strong wind. The kind of wind that takes your breath away. So, I broke out my warmest headband during the day. Don't laugh at me friends, but when I first bought it I had no idea how to wear it. The boyfriend and I were in the store trying it on me and cracking up because we were totally putting it on the wrong way. Naturally, I turned to my best friend "google" to show me how to wear this thing. Hey, this blog is not about fashion for a reason haha.

Sushi again?! I know I know, I've been eating it so much lately. I can't get enough! However, I did venture out to a new roll. So proud of my little self being adventurous. New one-the tuna roll. It was pretty good, but wouldn't call it my ultimate favorite. The salmon roll and avocado got added to the mix as well. After going to the same place all the time, they are starting to know my order. Right when I came in the lady goes "brown rice sushi for takeout?" Yupppp, that's me. As you can see, a couple rolls are missing since I devoured them before I even got home.
On my way out of the restaurant, I grabbed one of my favorite hard candies. Brach's cinnamon candies taste so good. Cinnamon might just be one of my favorite flavors. I love it sprinkled on top of applesauce, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, and well pretty much anything. However, I always forget to add it to dessert. People always comment that desserts taste better with cinnamon and it adds more flavor without the calories. I'll have to remember this next time I'm baking.
The night ended with some food prep since I was super lazy on Sunday and didn't do a thing. Well, I did get caught up on all my tv shows, but that doesn't really count. I prepped my oatmeal with protein powder baggies, peeled all my hard boiled eggs, and cut up turkey into strips. We can not forget about cutting up these fresh strawberries. They were so delicious and juicy, a couple of them found their way right into my mouth.

Do you food prep for the week?

Do you follow the latest fashion trends?

  7. There's a frozen custard stand called Carl's in Fredericksburg, VA that closes during the winter and has long lines on opening day, well actually every day ALL summer! It is the absolute best!
