New Makeup & A Treadmill Workout

Happy Monday everyone!

I have to this weekend was pretty low-key. Sometimes low key weekends are the best heh?

Saturday was spent shopping for some new makeup at Sephora. If you ask me, that is a marvelous way to spend a day and my paycheck. I ended up picking up a Benefit mascara, a Sephora liquid eye liner, and some foundation samples. I've been testing them out so I'll let you guys know what I think!

Lunch has been ALL about the wraps lately. I can't get enough of them. I loaded this one up with pineapple salsa, some green lettuce, and TJ's grilled chicken. The worst is when you are out shopping and you're starved! There are hardly any healthy options on the go at the mall.

The L'oreal straightening cream is the real deal. I've been using this non-stop for the past couple days and I am loving it! The weather has been really humid and drizzly here, so that is the true test. The best part is it doesn't weigh your hair down or make it greasy. Even though my hair is thick, if I use too many shine serums//frizz control gels//whatever other goo I put in my hair, certain products can add a layer of grease. This stuff goes on smooth and leaves my hair feeling silky, but not sticky.
Dinner last night ended up being quick and easy. Just the way I like it ;) I put a tiny bit of spicy salsa on baked chicken to give it some flavor. Then, added some mushrooms on the side with a drizzle of balsamic dressing, and sauteed some cut up squash with cinnamon on top. I suppose I should retire my snowman plate soon since spring is coming!
On Friday, I was getting bored with my steady walking on the treadmill and felt up to some intervals. I figured I would share it with you guys. I was a sweaty mess by the end! It is based off of the 2-2-1 principle. I made sure to warm up first. Next up, I walked fast up some serious hills, then did a steady run, and recovered for a minute. You can repeat the intervals as many times as you like.

 Have a marvelous Monday!

  4. It can be so frustrating trying to find healthy food options in malls. If necessary, I generally resort to Subway if that is an option and I am unable to bring anything with me from home. Maybe we should open up a healthy mall restaurant chain! ;)
