Thoughts Running Around In My Head

Happy Thursday!

I have a bunch of jumbled thoughts all running around my head today so I figured I'd share.

1. Luck. I've been unusually lucky lately! Between winning a subscription to BuluBox from another giveaway (which I can't wait to get here!), two SparklySoul headbands, and being nominated again for the Liebster award (Thanks again Maureen and Allison !!) it's been a swell couple of weeks.

2. While at school yesterday I spotted Nutella to-go cups! The girl next to me in class said she found them at the bookstore. You guys know nutella is like crack to me, these little cups would be awesome since they are already portioned out. I asked the girl if I could snap a picture of them. Haha, she must be thinking I am some weirdo and will probably be sitting on the other side of the classroom from now. I have no shame! See the social sacrifices I make for you guys haha... Have any of you guys found seen these before?!

3. One of my teachers was offering extra credit to go to all the math club's events this week. So, me being a super math nerd (again no shame) went to play the game: PIGS! Having never played before, I ended up winning the first round. My college is not one to disappoint, they gave me a gift card to Applebees! Sweeeeeeet. But I guess that is why I pay a crazy-a$$ amount of tuition for. They also had a huge spread of sandwiches. Unfortunately I couldn't have any, but I did stocked up on a nice supply of all their fresh fruit, which I went back for seconds.More colleges need to get on the gluten-free bandwagon!

4. Aren't leftovers even better than the first meal? For dinner last night, I had some baked chicken which I prepped on Sunday. I mixed it all up with some mushrooms, carrots, celery, and some olive oil. A baked potato got added in for some simple carbs.
5. Personality tests can be taken with a grain of salt. I found myself with some down-time earlier in the week and got lost in the interwebs. I am across the this one and found the results surprising. Introvert? Yes that is definitely me. But the others, I was shocked that judging won out over perceiving. I consider myself someone who acts based off their intuition. Either way, it was interesting!

6. The last thought running through my head is how much I was missing out by not having wifi until a few weeks ago. My laptop has really been a desktop since, well basically forever. So, it is so nice to finally be able to use my laptop in my bed. And hello Led Zeppelin wallpaper. The secret is out: I'm a huge Led Zeppelin fan. "In the evening" and "Kashmir" are one of my top two favorite songs I could listen to over and over again.

***Let me know if you try the personality test & if you agree with the result!

***What is your favorite song of all time?

  1. Hmmm...I tried that personality test and it was all a bit indifferent! The only one that was distinctively more was that I have a preferene for feelings rather than thinking. Not sure if I trust it to be honest, but it was interesting!
I'm not a huge Led Zepplin fan but I love 'Baby I'm gonna leave you' and 'Since I've been loving you'.

  2. They sell those Nutella cups near the check out at our grocery store, there have been a few times one almost made it into my cart. I love leftovers, I will eat them as is but i also like to play around with them and make them into something a little new.
