Lobster Time

So I found out that I somehow sprained my knee. Luckily the doctor said no gym for a week and to ice it everyday and I should be good to go! Unfortunately I couldn't convince Troy that the doctor said a tropical drink would fix it. But I did manage to convince him that a Starbucks would help. This is how much of Friday night was spent. There is a huge pile of magazines on my floor that I am trying to get through.
Even though I was wobbling around, we did make it out of the house for a nice dinner one night. I've been wanting to go this beach restaurant for awhile now, but it's been insanely too hot the past week. So since it cooled off a bit, we decided it was a go. The only downside was it was SUPER windy.

The real reason we went to this place was for the lobster! Now this picture is the definition of summer to me. For my whole life I've always loved lobster and seafood. When I was young and under 7 years old, I would always order lobster whenever we went to a restaurant. Not that my mom ever let me get it. I mean lobster isn't exactly on the kid's menu haha. It just is so tasty!
After our dinner date we came home to play with Cooper who just had loads of energy. Thanks to Troy throwing his frisbee on the roof haha. So we had to get creative with other ways to entertain him. I've been teaching him a few tricks here & there over the past year. Troy has taught him to "crawl". Lately we've been working on roll over. He was getting stuck in the middle for awhile. And for which some strange reason he will only do it outside and not in the house.

Sunday was spent grocery shopping, which was pretty much a workout for me with my knee. Plus some time spent outside swimming in the pool while visiting family. And a Ralph's ice to end a marvelous weekend!

***Questions
Are you a fan of lobster? Give me more, yum.

What's one food you always ordered when you were young, but weren't allowed to get?

  3. I have never had lobster. Even though my mom's family is from Mass and my uncle is a lobster fisherman. One day I will try it!

  4. Yum! I love lobster and your picture has just sparked an intense craving! As a kid whenever I was out I would order whatever did NOT have vegetables with it...wow how times have changed!
