Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend. I know I sure am since I got to sleep in.
Yesterday was my last final so I am all done studying for the semester. It was an even better day since I am officially done with college! For an actuary I don't need a master's degree, just have to pass lots of exams.
Since I won't be attending graduation, mom and I celebrated at Panera. Nothing wild and crazy, that will be in Mexico haha ;)
Anyway after a nice gym session, we headed over for some delicious eats.
I didn't exactly want to splurge since I've been cutting back on my calories. So I got half the chicken cobb salad with no dressing.
I brought my own dressing from home and saved a ton of calories. Got to stay within my macros!
After dinner we headed over to Party City to pick up some decorations for a celebration going on tonight for my grandfather.
Of course I picked the tye-dye baloons. Picked up lots of glitter for the tables :) The smiley face sign thing was too cute to pass up!
The night ended with a skinny vanilla lattee from my favorite place.
The weather was so warm to sit by the water. And a nice sunset to a good night!
I'm off to jet to finish some errands before the celebration tonight!
*Questions- Do you ever bring your own food to restaurants? I have no shame I will. I usually stuff it in my big purse hah.
I don't eat out at restaurants often and when I do I usually just eat the food they have. I don't like a lot of dressing so I will usually just dip some in the dressing or eat it with pepper instead of dressing.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that you brought your own dressing from home! I definitely stash food away in my big purse (especially to the movies and things like that), but never dressing because I would freak out if it spilled all over my purse. :-)
ReplyDeletei always bring my own dressing (esp to pan era) because I love the salads but the dressings are so unnecessary ;) love your artsy coffee pic (and is that a diamond on the left hand? just sayingggg ;) )
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks! It is but not an engagement ring. It was an anniversary gift :)
DeleteI love how you brought your own dressing! That's something I have got to try! Dressings tend to be the worst thing for you at restaurants!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!
xoxo,
